Privacy Notice
Last updated: 7 July 2026
This notice explains how Bilda Labs (“we”, “us”) collects and uses the personal data you share through this website, and your rights over it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to respond to you.
Who we are
Bilda Labs is a digital product studio based in Malta, operating across Europe. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@bildalabs.eu.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry or book a consultation, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, an optional phone number, optional company name, the message describing what you’re building, and the visitor “segment” you select (e.g. startup, SME, founder). We also note which sections of the site you viewed, to tailor what we show you.
We do not ask for, or want, sensitive personal data, payment details, or government identifiers through this site.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up about working together. Our legal bases are your consent (which you give via the checkbox before submitting) for storing your details and contacting you, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries we receive.
Who processes it (our service providers)
We share the data only with the providers that help us operate this funnel:
- Email delivery: a transactional email service that sends your enquiry to our inbox.
- Scheduling: a booking tool used to schedule the consultations you book.
- Backup email: a fallback email channel used if our primary email delivery is unavailable.
- Hosting: the platform that hosts the website and processes requests.
- Analytics: our product analytics platform, described in the Analytics section below.
Each provider acts under a data processing agreement and their own privacy terms.
Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics platform hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, features interacted with, and session replays in which anything you type is masked. We also use Google Analytics for aggregate site-usage statistics. We do not send your name or email to analytics, and we never place personal data in page URLs.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to follow up and for our legitimate business records, and we remove them on request or when no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, withdraw consent at any time, and object to processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@bildalabs.eu and we’ll respond promptly. You may also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
